We are a group of artists, writers, and members of the Los Angeles art community who aim to honor artists that have greatly impacted us by collectively purchasing and gifting a significant work of theirs to a major Los Angeles institution. Through small donations towards individual artworks, we offer members of our community, who do not ordinarily have the means to collect, the opportunity to participate in the museum acquisition process. We seek to celebrate “artists’ artists” and ensure that their work enters a public institution for future generations.
